Antique 10K GOLD Victorian Mourning Hair Style Brooch Pin Funeral MOMENTO MORI

Really beautiful jewler TESTED 10K GOLD & black oval victorian mourning brooch! It has engraved letters in the back that are hard to read but appears to show "ALW" or possibly "AIW".

Brought to my local jewler and had acid tested. This brooch weighs 4 grams total.

I do not believe this piece contains any hair, but does appear to contain an article of black clothing. There is 1 chip out of the black filler (common for being 100+ years old) the clothes pin clasp has been replaced and tested as not gold. Please see photos for full condition!
