Antique 19th C Victorian 10K Gold Mourning Brooch Pin Plaited Woven Hair

This is an antique 19th Century 10K yellow gold mourning brooch or pin. The piece contains plaited woven hair.

I tested the gold frame, and it tested as 10K. The back is silver colored metal. The piece measures 1 7/16 by 1 1/8 inches, and weighs 6.92 grams on a jewelry scale.

There is a very worn black band around the brooch. It opens and closes with a'c' clasp.
