Up for sale is a beautiful antique Victorian era gold mourning brooch with black enamel and a photo of the young man still present inside the cover. The back presumably has the man name, which is illegible, and the day of death being May 9, 1878. Measuring approximately 1.25 inches in total length this work is untested for whether its gold or gold filled, it does appear to be possibly a low carat gold.
