Victorian Antique Mourning Brooch 14 K Yellow Gold & Woven Hair Double Knot

This is a rare mourning piece from the Victorian era. It is bow shaped and has a small 14 K mark on the C clasp.

I have tested it and at 14 K acid it holds. The pin finding is slightly bent but it fits well into the C clasp.

It measures 2 1/4 in length. The brown hair is woven tight without loose hairs coming from the brooch. It is a great piece from the Victorian era.
